MoneyHole is a satire publication. This privacy policy is not satire.

What we collect

Analytics. We use privacy-friendly aggregate analytics to count page views and measure page speed. This does not use cookies, does not build a profile of you, and does not follow you to other sites. We can see that a page was viewed. We cannot see who viewed it.

Newsletter. If you subscribe to the Briefing, we store the email address you give us. That is the only field we keep.

Comments. Reader responses are handled by GitHub Discussions. If you post a comment, you are interacting with GitHub under GitHub's privacy policy, and your GitHub username is published alongside your comment.

Server logs. Our host records standard request logs, including IP address, for security and abuse prevention. We do not read them for any other purpose.

What we do not do

  • We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information.
  • We do not run advertising, ad networks, or third-party trackers.
  • We do not use advertising cookies.
  • We do not build advertising profiles.
  • We do not require an account to read anything.

Your choices

You can unsubscribe from the newsletter at any time using the link in any issue. You can request deletion of your email address by writing to hello@moneyhole.news, and we will remove it.
